Edward M. Felegy Elementary School, Replacement School
WAI provided mechanical and electrical design services for this new 93,000 sq. ft. elementary school. Edward Felegy Elementary School includes: a gymnasium with lockers, a kitchen, a health room, a library and library support rooms, TV studio and control rooms, science laboratories, general and special education classrooms, computer laboratory, music and art rooms, conference rooms, lounges, etc. This new elementary school replaced the existing facility with a new, state of the art, LEED Green facility. This project also included a geothermal well field with an active chilled beam system maximizing the HVAC system’s sustainability. This project achieved LEED Gold certification.
