Howard Hall & Academic Commons Renovation

WAI provided design and integration of the plumbing and fire protection systems for this $31.5 million renovation. This project consisted of two side-by-side buildings connected by a central circulation corridor, which were renovated simultaneously. WAI’s services for these 107,000 gsf buildings included: fire alarm retrofit, fire sprinkler retrofit, plumbing system retrofit of the sanitary, waste, vent domestic water and plumbing fixtures. These spaces support: social sciences, teacher education, hospitality and culinary programs, student life, the center for service learning, teaching and learning services, mediation and conflict resolution, faculty development, honors center, information technology, instructional media and administration.
