WAI provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design for the new Unaccompanied Housing Facility located at Naval Air Station Patuxent River. This project had a construction budget of $36.4 million, and was won via a design-build competition. The facility is a 104,000 sq. ft. multi-story building, complete with 73 two-bedroom units for housing. WAI’s design services included: HVAC, plumbing systems, fire sprinkler, interior lighting, electrical power distribution for both normal and emergency power, fire alarm, access control, video surveillance and telecommunication systems. This project was completed using REVIT and achieved LEED Silver.
